Punter Lou Hedley has become one of the most popular Miami Hurricanes players in his two seasons. After being named a consensus second-team All-American in 2020, ESPN named Hedley to its “College football’s way-too-early 2021 All-America team.” which was released Tuesday morning.

Hedley was second nationally averaging 47.3 yards per punt in 2020. Hedley had 19 punts of 50-or-more yards, only two touchbacks, 13 punts inside opponents’ 20-yard line and 24 of his 46 punts fair caught.
