The Miami Hurricanes football team held its second practice of training camp on Wednesday. Defensive linemen Jahfari Harvey and Akheem Mesidor, safety James Williams and wide receivers Xavier Restrepo and Colbie Young all spoke following practice on Wednesday. Harvey told reporters he will be playing the JACK position under new defensive coordinator Lance Guidry. Harvey said he will drop back into coverage more often this season. Sophomore Nyjalik Kelly was praised by Harvey as a player with a lot of upside entering the 2023 Miami football season.
