After FIU took a 1-0 lead in the first inning Miami scored two in the third to seize the lead for good. The Miami Hurricanes had four innings with multiple runs. That included five runs in the sixth and ninth innings. Shortstop Dominic Pitelli had three hits and seven RBIs a few weeks after a nine-RBI game.
