The Miami Hurricanes baseball program announced the elevation of Jonathan Anderson to assistant coach and recruiting coordinator and the hiring of assistant coach Darren Fenster in the last week. Five-star edge rusher Colin Simmons spoke to 247 Sports about his recruitment and interest in Miami.
Anderson was hired by the Miami Hurricanes prior to the 2020 season as the director of player development and also helped with other duties that included coordinating video, baseball analytics and recruiting per a press release. Fenster has an extensive career that includes working for the Boston Red Sox and Rutgers.
