The Miami Hurricanes missed out on getting the pledge from one of their top targets in the 2022 recruiting class, as Jaleel Skinner committed to Alabama over UM Friday afternoon.
Skinner, who’s ranked as the No. 1 tight end prospect in the 2022 class according to 247Sports Composite score, announced his intention to play for the Crimson Friday on CBSSports HQ.
Miami (June 25) was among Skinner’s five official visits over the summer, along with the Gators, Crimson Tide, Longhorns and Seminoles.
Skinner, who was ranked as the No. 74 player in the nation according to 247Sports Composite score, had an unofficial visit with the Hurricanes during their 30-28 loss to Virginia on Sept.
