Miami Hurricanes loss to GATech is 3rd 4 game losing streak in 3 years

After a 5-1 start to the 2018 season, the Miami Hurricanes have now lost four straight games for the third time during Mark Richt’s three seasons in Coral Gables.

A mostly stagnant offense and a defense that uncharacteristically allowed Georgia Tech to convert nine times in 16 attempts on third down and 1-1 on fourth down led to the Miami Hurricanes 27-21 loss to the Yellow Jackets in Atlanta. It was Miami Head Coach Mark Richt’s first loss at Bobby Dodd Stadium in ten games.

Turnovers and penalties did the Hurricanes in. Miami had seven penalties for 49 yards and committed three turnovers to Georgia Tech’s one.
