Earlier today, former SOTU contributor Carter Balderson inquired as to why senior LB Charles Perry was no longer on the roster.
After some checking with Miami Athletics, a UM spokesman confirmed to The South Florida Sun-Sentinel that Perry, a senior from Royal Palm Beach HS, is no longer with the program.
A 3-star recruit out of HS, Perry was the first player to commit to Miami’s 2015 recruiting class. Steadfast in his desire to play for the Canes, Perry came to Miami to play for Al Golden, and stuck around to play for Mark Richt, until today.
