Miami Hurricanes land George Mason’s top scorer after losing several players

Miami Hurricanes coach Jim Larrañaga’s run to the Final Four at his previous stop, George Mason, was 15 years ago. But his name still carries weight in Fairfax, Virginia.

Enough so that he could land George Mason’s top scorer last season on a transfer. Patriots guard Jordan Miller announced a transfer to Miami on Monday afternoon.

“I have decided to commit to the University of Miami. I look forward to this next chapter,” Miller said in a social media statement. “I’ve been extremely blessed and grateful of the 3 years I have had here at GMU. Playing close to home has been amazing and I want to thank all of my coaches, teammates, and staff.
