Senior defensive tackle Michael Wyche has been arrested on domestic violence charges and has been suspended indefinitely from the team, likely ending his short and extremely disappointing Miami Hurricanes career.
Wyche, who was considered a big JUCO prospect, just never got going at Miami and his career will be seen as a huge disappointment. Wyche hadn’t played a game since the team’s loss to Cincinnati, and it’s just because he wasn’t good enough.
While Wyche has now played his last game as a Hurricane, the school released the following statement regarding the situation:
