Miami Hurricanes Football: East-West Shrine Game Sees Two ‘Canes Players

At Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, FL, both Scott and Bush played on the East Team (colors: red & white), which was headed up by Kansas Jayhawks head coach Charlie Weis.

Scott was mentored by wide receivers coach Troy Brown (former New England Patriots player), while Bush worked under DB coach Sam Madison (former Miami Dolphins player).

Unfortunately for Scott, the East didn’t generate too much offense. All three East quarterbacks totaled just a 117 yards and each QB threw an interception. Struggled is an understatement.

The East’s only points came from an early field goal and a “pick six” by Florida Gators DB Brian Poole.
