Miami Hurricanes DE Trevon Hill brings versatility as NFL edge rusher

Trevon Hill played with the Miami Hurricanes in 2019 as a graduate transfer from Virginia Tech. Hill produced 27 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks in 12 games with one start. The best game Hill had in his short Miami tenure was four tackles, 1.5 TFLs and one sack in the Hurricanes 27-10 win over Florida State.

Hill was part of a dominant Miami Hurricanes defense in the victory over the Seminoles. The Hurricanes had 16 TFLs and nine sacks in the victory. Hill is a versatile player at 6’3 248 pounds who projects as a defensive end in a traditional 4-3 defense or as an outside linebacker/edge rusher in a 3-4.
