Playing in only the third playoff game of his four-year career the former Miami Hurricanes point guard had by far his best game. In three career playoff games before Tuesday night, Larkin had five points on two of seven shooting from the field.
With Celtics starting point guard Kyrie Irving sidelined with a knee injury for the remainder of the season, Larkin is likely to become a key reserve for Boston in the playoffs. Combined with starting guards Terry Rosier and Jaylen Brown the Celtics three primary players in the backcourt combined for 64 points.
