After much speculation over the past week, CB Tyrique Stevenson announced that he will be transferring home to play for the Miami Hurricanes.
A 4-star recruit out of local Miami (FL) Southridge HS, Stevenson broke the hearts of Canes fans by signing with Georgia in the 2019 recruiting class. And Stevenson immediately hit the field for the Bulldogs, playing in 14 games as a freshman, and 10 games in the COVID-19 affected 2020 season.
Although he had worked his way into a starting role on the Georgia defense, Stevenson entered the transfer portal shortly after the season concluded.
