Four future Miami Hurricanes won a state championship last week as the Florida High School Athletic Association hosted its state title games at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee.
2021 signees James Williams (Plantation-American Heritage), Andres Borregales (Hialeah-Champagnat Catholic), and Laurence Seymore (Miami Central) concluded their high school playing careers with a state championship last week. 2023 wide receiver Lamar Seymore, a verbal commitment, also won a state title with Miami Central.
The lone signee still playing this season is quarterback Jake Garcia, who will play for the Georgia AAAAAA state championship on December 30 when Grayson (Ga.
