Miami getting healthier on initial injury report at Pittsburgh

Related Topics: Pittsburgh, Miami, Tony Johnson

Defensive back Keionte Scott and wide receiver Tony Johnson are out and defensive tackle David Blay Jr. is questionable as the only prominent players for Miami on the initial Student-Athlete Availability Reporting update for the Hurricanes' game at Pittsburgh on Saturday.

With Scott out and Jakobe Thomas knocked out of the game at Virginia Tech last week, true freshman Bryce Fitzgerald, Zechariah Poyser and Dylan Day received the majority of the snaps for Miami at safety at Virginia Tech last week.

Scott has not played since the North Carolina State game two weeks ago and is expected to be out for the season.
