Miami closed the first half on a 23-8 run to take a 41-20 halftime lead on its way to a 78-65 win over Georgetown on Friday night in Orlando. The Hurricanes led by as many as 24 points in the second half and were in command for the vast majority of the game.
Malik Reneau helped stake Miami to the 21-point halftime lead. Reneau scored 19 points on six of 10 from the field, making all three of his 3-point attempts and all four free throws with four rebounds and one block in the first half.
