Miami freshman wide receiver Joshua Moore became the first Hurricane since Stacy Coley in 2013 with two first-quarter touchdown receptions. The Moore TDs, which were the first of his career set Miami off and rolling with a 14-0 lead in a 49-12 win over South Florida.
Moore, who entered the game against South Florida with three receptions for 15 yards, doubled his 2025 output with a trio of catches for 61 yards on three targets, with 22 yards after the catch and the two end zone trips. Moore was one of five Miami receivers with at least 56 receiving yards versus USF.
