Steve Field is a Miami alum and a native of Palm Beach. In addition to serving as the Director of Recruiting at Oregon, Field also spent the 2017 season as the Director of High School Relations and NFL Liasion at Louisville. This would be Field’s second stint with the Miami football program.
Field was a defensive staff assistant and special teams coach with the Hurricanes from 2006-08. He has had stops at Hampton, FAMU and several high schools in Florida. Field coached former Miami defensive back Artie Burns in high school and helped recruit Travis Benjamin, Laron Byrd and Damien Berry to the Hurricanes.
