Still looking for a quarterback in the Class of 2021, the Miami football program has captured the attention of four-star signal-caller Garrett Nussmeier because of new offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee. Miami will lose new starting QB D’Eriq King after the 2020 season and will have some uncertainty at the position.
King who transferred from Houston in January is from Texas, like Nussmeier. Nussmeier resides in Flower Mound, Texas a suburb of Dallas-Fort Worth. At the moment, Nussmeier is 100 percent linked to LSU via the 247 Sports Crystal Ball. The Tigers’ new QB coach Scott Linehan coached Nussemeier’s father Doug.
