The Miami football program is the co-favorite after being named in the top three for four-star cornerback Jacolby Spells with Indiana and West Virginia. The Hurricanes and Mountaineers each have a crystal ball projecting Spells will sign with their programs. West Virginia has the more recent crystal ball.
Spells has taken official visits with West Virginia, Indiana and Miami football programs the last three weekends. An unofficial visit to Georgia was also fit in this month. Spells is the 244th ranked player, 27th cornerback and 28th in Florida in the Class of 2022 out of American Heritage in Fort Lauderdale.
