The Miami football program has already reached out to former Houston quarterback D’Eriq King to join the Hurricanes for the 2020 season according to Andrew Ivins of Inside the U. LSU who was considered the prohibitive to sign King before passing game coordinator Joe Brady was hired as the Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator.
Brady revolutionized college football with the passing game LSU had in 2019 led by Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Joe Burrow. The Tigers went from the euphoria of winning the national championship on Monday night to the favorites to sign King this afternoon to losing Brady late Tuesday afternoon.
