Miami football set for noon ET kickoff at Toledo September 15

The Miami football team defeated the defending Mid American Conference Champions 52-30 at Hard Rock Stadium last season. The Hurricanes exploded for 42 second-half points after trailing 16-10 at halftime.

Last season’s game against the Rockets came after a three-week layoff because of Hurricane Irma. The game will be the Miami football team’s fifth away game against a Group of Five team in the last six seasons.

Last year’s scheduled game at Arkansas State was canceled because of Hurricane Irma. That caused a lot of consternation in Jonesboro. Arkansas State is suing Miami over the lost revenue to the school.
