Scott Patchan began the season as a starting defensive end for the Miami football team. Patchan has 21 tackles, a career-high three tackles for loss and one sack this season. The redshirt senior has played in all 10 games in 2019 and was a starter until redshirt freshman Greg Rousseau passed Patchan on the depth chart.
Rousseau has had a breakout season in 2019 leading the Miami football team with 15.5 tackles for loss and 12 sacks. It was more a case of what Rousseau was doing than what Patchan wasn’t in passing the Senior on the depth chart.
