Mark Richt is the seventh Miami Football Head Coach since the 2000 season. Clemson has had just two coaches in the same time span. Florida State has had only two coaches in the last 42 seasons.
Richt’s hiring in December of 2015 has given Miami stabilization in the Head Coaching position. Being from Boca Raton, Richt appears to be at Miami for the duration of his career. He refers to coaching at Miami as being in Paradise.
