The win over Florida State was decisive and against their arch-rival. The Hurricanes victory against Louisville on Saturday got notice for redshirt freshman quarterback Jarren Williams setting the Miami school record and tying the ACC record with six touchdown passes.
A week after Miami defensive end Greg Rousseau was named the National Defensive Player of the week, Williams has a chance to earn the honor on offense.
