Diaz’s statement was part of a Tweet Chirinos sent out on Friday afternoon following a teleconference updating the beat reporters on the Miami football program that stated:
Diaz and Offensive Coordinator “Dan Enos and most likely some of the new hires expected to be announced tomorrow will meet with Hurricanes players Sunday night.
The remainder of Chirinos Tweet with the information from Diaz stated that “It seems like it’s been a long time, but we still have not come together as a football team since the hire was announced….”
Enos was announced on Friday morning as Miami’s new Offensive Coordinator.
