Stevenson’s announcement was the second player of the day that is headed out of state over signing with the Miami football program. Unlike defensive end, Khris Bogle from Cardinal Gibbons in Fort Lauderdale who was projected to sign with Miami, Georgia has been the favorite to sign Stevenson.
The Hurricanes missed out on their first two announcements in the Army All-American Game and are awaiting wide receiver Jadon Haselwood’s decision. Stevenson was correctly projected by 91 percent of the 247Sports analysts as signing with Georgia.
Haselwood who is from the Atlanta suburb of Ellenwood has 94 percent of the prognosticators projecting him to Oklahoma.
