Three-star quarterback Santino Marucci is the son of running back Jason Marucci who was a backup running back with the Miami football program from 1990-92. The younger Marucci is currently committed to Wake Forest with offers from Power Five schools Ohio State, Kentucky, Nebraska and Miami’s ACC Rival North Carolina State.
Without a commit at quarterback for 2021, it seems likely that the Miami football program would at least have some interest in the 6’2 180-pound signal-caller. Marucci is the 521st ranked player, 21st ranked pro-style QB and 77th ranked player in Florida for 2021.
