Miami is hosting five-star 2026 edge-rusher Anthony "Tank" Jones for the Notre Dame game on Sunday night, per Chad Simmons of On3. Jones has been committed to Oregon since July 31. On3 ranks Jones as the No. 22 prospect, No. 4 edge-rusher and top player in Alabama in the 2026 class.
Alabama, Auburn, Miami, Oregon and Texas A&M all hosted Jones for official visits in May and June. Oregon earned the commitment from Jones after being the penultimate official visit for Jones. Per Keegan Pope of Rivals, Jones committing to Oregon was surprising. Alabama was considered the favorite for a Jones commitment.
