Matt Shodell of CaneSport initially broke the information on Sunday morning, followed by Manny Navarro of The Athletic that Houston graduate transfer quarterback D’Eriq King decided he was going to sign with the Miami football program.
By Sunday afternoon that King had not yet made a decision where he would sign. Most major media outlets that cover the Miami football program and national media outlets the cover college football reported that King was on his way to Coral Gables. Now that appears it could be in question.
FOX Houston sports anchor Mark Berman reported that King texted him he is still weighing his options.
