The Miami football program has a big day on July 4 with 2022 prospects four-star defensive lineman Zane Durant, three-star offensive lineman Leyton Nelson and four-star athlete Jacolby Spells all announcing their college destinations. Durant has unanimous crystal balls projecting him to Miami, Nelson none, Spells’ are split.
Durant is the 338th player, 46th defensive lineman and 42nd player in Florida in the Class of 2022. Southeast recruiting expert Andrew Ivins is the only non-team expert that projects Durant to commit to Miami. Durant would be the first DL to commit to Miami in the Class of 2022.
