The victory by Duke over the Miami football team sent the Hurricanes to 6-6 and their worst regular-season record since they also finished the regular season 6-6. It was the most decisive loss Miami took in 2019. All six of the losses by Miami in 2019 have come by 10 points or less. There are no more excuses.
The offense could not move the football, they were missing two offensive linemen in their rotation and the defense could not hold the lead after three quarters as Miami collapsed in another inexplicable loss in a season full of them.
