The Miami football program earned its first five-star commitment in the Class of 2024 with a pledge from wide receiver Joshisa Trader on Thursday. Trader pushes Miami to the 16th ranked 2024 class from the 21st prior to his commitment. Miami will have at least three five-star recruits under Mario Cristobal in the last two classes.
Miami signed five-star offensive tackles Francis Mauigoa and Samson Okunlola in the 2023 class. Trader is the 25th-ranked prospect, third athlete and fifth recruit in Florida in the Class of 2024 according to the 247 Sports Composite rankings.
