The Miami football team only conducted four spring practices before sports were shut down globally due to the COVID-19/coronavirus over the last week. Several Hurricanes freshmen made an impact in only about a quarter of the allotted practices.
The 2020 Miami football recruiting class was 13th nationally despite coming off of a 6-7 season. Fourteen of the 21 signees in the Hurricanes 2020 recruiting class were early enrollees in January. Several of those players were making an impact as Miami began spring practice in early March.
This spring projected to be a big one for the Miami football team on both sides of the ball.
