The Miami football program landed five alums on the list of the “Best high school football players this century, ranked” from 247 Sports. Three of the five players listed signed with Miami out of high school and two transferred to Miami. Linebacker Willie Williams who signed with Miami eventually transferred to Louisville.
Linebacker D.J. Williams and offensive tackle Seantrel Henderson were the only two of the five Miami football alums listed to sign with the Hurricanes and complete their careers there. Quarterback Brock Berlin who originally signed with Florida and defensive end Jaelan Phillips with UCLA round out the list for Miami.
