Depending on the sources and reports you believe the Miami football program is everything from leader to sign Jalen Hurts to not in the picture at all. Yardbarker is reporting that there is mutual interest between Hurts and Miami and Andrew Ivins of Inside the U initially reported that Miami was not a favorite to land Hurts.
Ivins did update that later by stating in an Inside the U article that Miami Head Coach Manny Diaz reached out to Hurts shortly after learning that the former Alabama quarterback was in the transfer protocol.
