Cortez McKenzie is the 11th commit to the Miami football program’s top rated 2021 recruiting class. McKenzie is the third 2021 commit at linebacker. He is the first commit to Miami’s 2021 recruiting class outside of South Florida. McKenzie will be entering his junior season at Lakewood High School in St. Petersburg.
McKenzie does not yet have a ranking or rating. His only other scholarship offer thiu far is from Western Michigan. The 6’0 195-pound outside LB is the only player in Miami’s 2021 class not rated or ranked. Four Hurricanes in the class of 2021 are four-star commits.
