Texas A&M is becoming greater competition for the Miami football program to receive a commitment from 2022 five-star defensive end, Shemar Stewart, according to Adam Gorney of Rivals.Com. Gorney recently stated that Stewart likes the potential of the Aggies’ DE depth chart as a true freshman.
Miami will also have openings at DE in 2022 following the departures of projected 2021 starters DeAndre Johnson and Zach McCloud. Cameron Williams who was expected to be a part of the 2021 DE rotation is no longer with the Hurricanes.
