In 13 games last season Bandy allowed just 45 yards after the catch. Twenty-four of those yards came in the games against Duke and Notre Dame. Bandy is one of three cornerbacks that the Miami football team returning for the 2018 season.
Miami lost Dee Delaney and Malek Young after last season. Delaney played for the Hurricanes last season as a Graduate Transfer from the Citadel. Young had to retire after his Sophomore season because of a spinal cord injury.
Bandy accomplished a lot last season as a slot cornerback. He is likely to stay there and back up Michael Jackson at corner for the 2018 season.
