Miami football category 20: OT Chris Washington adds length and depth

The Miami football desperately needed offensive line help after the inconsistent play they have received upfront this season. The Hurricanes signed a pair of offensive tackles in the Category 20 Class this week. At 6’7 269 pounds, three-star offensive tackle Chris Washington is the tallest signee in this year’s class.

Washington is the type of long lean offensive lineman that the current Miami football staff prefers. They like to take the tall leaner players and bulk them up. Zion Nelson is the perfect example. Nelson gained close to 50 pounds since he signed with the Hurricanes last December.
