Committing to the Miami football program in March 2018 under former head coach Mark Richt and previous TE coach Todd Hartley, Mammarelli is the type of player head Manny Diaz has openly discussed wanting in the Miami football program.
Mammarelli signed with the Hurricanes because he wants to play football at Miami as opposed to signing for a coach.
