The commitment from four-star athlete Chris Graves who the Miami football program projects to play cornerback is building an elite secondary for the Hurricanes future. Miami signed Avonate Williams who was the second-ranked safety in the Class of 2020 and James Williams who was top-ranked at the position in 2021.
Four-star cornerback Khamauri Rogers committed to the 2022 Miami class earlier this year. Travaris Robinson who was hired as defensive backs coach during the offseason and DeMarcus Van Dyke who was promoted to CBs coach from the recruiting staff were credited with the commitment from Graves.
