Miami football alum Tyrone Moss passes away at 33

After a legendary high school career at Blanche Ely in Pompano Beach, Moss enrolled began his Miami football career in 2003. He is in the top ten on several Miami Hurricanes rushing records. Moss was ranked by the Florida High School Athletic Association as ‘100 Greatest Players of First 100 Years’ in 2007.

In four years playing football for Miami, Moss accumulated 1,942 rushing yards a 4.7 yards per carry average and 26 touchdowns. After playing behind Jarrett Payton and then Frank Gore as a Freshman and Sophomore, Moss led Miami in rushing as a Junior.
