The Miami football program received a commitment from Louisiana-Monroe transfer defensive lineman Anthony Campbell following his weekend visit. Campbell is the 411th-ranked transfer and 41st DL transfer in the 247 Sports rankings. Campbell thanked multiple Miami coaches and staffers when he tweeted his decision.
The Miami football program will play the 6’7 and 277-pound Campbell at defensive tackle after he was an edge rusher for Louisiana Monroe. In two seasons after transfering from Independence Kansas Community College Campbell had 13 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and one sack at Louisiana-Monroe.
Campbell is the third DT Miami has added to its 2023 roster.
