The ‘new’ Miami found yet another way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory — this time against the 1-5 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets… at home.
Scoring 21 points in the first half — it seemed that Miami’s offense would continue to roll in the 3rd and 4th quarters. Sadly, the exact opposite was true, with the ‘Canes not scoring a single point in the 2nd half or in overtime.
Georgia Tech came into the game ranked 93rd in total defense. Somehow, Miami and their lack of offense made them look like a top-25 unit.
