The ACC Network began the Miami at Texas A&M College Football Playoff game simulcasting Hurricanes' announcers, Joe Zagacki on play-by-play, Don Bailey Jr. providing analysis and Josh Darrow working on the sideline.
Sometime during the first quarter, the simulcast with the WQAM Miami broadcast and the Texas A&M announcers was flipped. The WQAM broadcast flipped to the SEC Network and the Texas A&M announcers were on the ACC Network.
It took a few drives, but the hometown calls were finally flipped back to the networks they belong on. Miami fans were furious with the broadcast gaffe. For Miami fans not in South Florida, the ACC Network simulcast is the only way to listen to Zagacki, Bailey Jr.
