Miami dropped six spots to 21st nationally in the ESPN Football Power Index after the Hurricanes improved to 2-0 in 2025 with a 45-3 win over Bethune-Cookman on Saturday. Miami remains first among ACC teams and the only one in the top 25 of the ESPN FPI.
The Hurricanes are fourth nationally in strength of record, 32nd in strength of schedule, 55th in remaining strength of schedule, 12th in game control and 20th in average in-game probability. Miami is 30th nationally in efficiency, 22nd in offensive efficiency, 57th in defensive efficiency and 77th in special teams efficiency.
