Miami handled Bethune-Cookman 101-61 on Thursday night in the second game of the Jai Lucas era in Coral Gables. The 40-point Miami win over Bethune-Cookman was impressive, as the Wildcats lost in overtime at Auburn in the season opener on Monday.

Tre Donaldson led Miami with 23 points, made nine of his 11 shots from the field and had four assists. Malik Renaeau was over 20 points for the second consecutive game by making nine of his 12 shots from the floor and adding six rebounds, a team-leading five assists and two blocks.
