The Hurricanes and Demon Deacons split two games during the regular season. Each team won on their home court. The Miami basketball team finished the regular season 13-17 overall and 5-13 in the ACC.
After receiving a double-bye in the 2018 Tournament, the Hurricanes plummetted nine spots in the standings this season because of attrition to the roster. Miami is looking for it’s first ACC Tournament victory since 2017. The Hurricanes have been eliminated by North Carolina in the last two ACC Tournaments.
The winner of Wake Forest and Miami will play Virginia Tech at 2 PM ET on Wednesday.
