CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami men’s basketball team will face Stanford in the opening round of the AdvoCare Invitational, ESPN Events announced Thursday. The Canes will then take on either Indiana State or Iowa State in the second round of the 11th annual event, played Nov. 24, 25 & 27 at HP Field House at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Fla.
Miami and Stanford last met in the championship game of the 2015 NIT, when the Canes lost 66-64 in overtime at Madison Square Garden.
